There are four Artist Brushes. These flat artist brushes are available with either Camel hair or nylon, and a square-ended tip, set into into a wood handle. The artist brushes are available in sizes: 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".
Camel Hair Flat Lacquering brushes are produced with epoxy set camel hair, seamless aluminum ferrule and a wood handle. Flat brushes cover flat, even surfaces quickly. Brushes with soft bristles leave fewer brush marks for a smooth finish. They are often used with high-gloss paint and coatings. This brush can be used for several applications but is very popular for lacquering, general purpose industrial painting and ceramic applications. Ideally used with low-viscosity paint. Camel Hair Flat Paint Brushes can be used with watercolors, acrylics, oils, temperas, enamels and stains.
Nylon flat brushes are produced by securing the nylon to a lacquered wood handle with a rustproof metal ferrule. Nylon filament has excellent absorption qualities and the flexible, malleable fibers allow for easy contouring. Nylon artist brushes are more versatility than natural because it may be used with acrylic and oil paints.
